I got a hair cut yesterday and today i hate it?

I need help it is very short but the hairdresser didnt texturize it with a razor like i asked. She is a friend of mine, should i just go to another hairdresser and get it recut or give myself a few days to get used to it? if anyone has any style ideas please send me the links for pictures. thanks

I say give it a few days! my friend didn't like her hairstyle and first but then she got use to it and loved it!

if this doesn't happen in few days then you could always go back to the same hairdresser and take a pic with you!

and if she still does it the wrong way then I suggest going to a new hairdresser!!!! hope this helped

give yourself a few days to get used to it, and if you still hate it then go get it razored the way you want it. and remember, it will grow back!

It depends on how short you got it cut to have it re-cut. I wouldn't go to that stylist again even though she was your friend. she didnt listen to you, so she obviously might be geting bored with her job. you can remain friends, she just doesnt cut your hair. I would fiddle with your hair when you have some free time and just try unique styles and designs. you could find one that works for you.

Sometimes a cut looks great when we leave the salon, but terrible the next day or after we wash it. That's because we're not professional stylists and can't just replicate the style straightaway.

Unless a stylist has completely ruined your hair, it's always best to be honest with them and give them a chance to "make it right". What I would suggest is that you call the same stylist and ask if she can give you some time where she can help you learn how to style your new 'do yourself. And of course, it's going to take a little time and practice!

If all else fails, then you can look into having it re-cut by another stylist. Just make sure they give you plenty of assistance in styling it yourself before you leave!

Give it a few days to see if it grows on u.... why didnt she texture it with a razor? is it because she thought it wouldnt look good or may be she doesnt know how to work with a razor.. it might be that she thought ur hair texture wouldnt work well with a razor and the cut u wanted.. i would probably mention to her that u wonder what it would look like if she razored .....see what she says why she didnt before u go somewhere else
