PLEASE help me! because i don't know what to do. i've already cut my hair into that style (but just a tad bit longer), but i don't know how to style it like that!

I would use gel and lightly towel dry my hair. Then, using a blow dryer, I would shape the sides to wing out like that. It shouldn't take long since those haris are short. Use some mousse afterwards and run your hands upwards to create that winged look.

Afterwards, with the longer pieces on top, use gel and toussel your hair. I think it looks good messy like that. Just don't mess with it too much because the gel will start to flake.

If this doesn't work, bring the picture to your stylist and ask her to show you how to do it.

go to your hairdresser with the photo. Ask her if it is feasable for you to get the same style. If you have similar features and your hair is not too fine or thin, than looks to me a good cut and some gel will get you to look like the Material Girl. But..why look like someone else? Be original and find a style perfect for you and your lifestyle. If you think a hair style will make you happier..it will not.

If you don't have natural lift in the crown area use a root booster and a round brush to get the lift and direction for the crown. On the sides and back looks like you could use a flat iron as you say your hair is a little longer to bring that all outward. When you are finished with the direction and shape take some Headplay 12 by Redken and spray it on the crown area and shape quickly with your fingers. You may be able to use a spray gel if your hair already has lift and direction. For the sides you could use Headplay 12 again or strong holding hair spray and then no combing or brushing.

It is obvious to me that WAX was used (see the way the hair has a waxy look? It doesnt look hardened off, which is what gel would do, and hairspray and mousse wouldnt holdit.

I could write you a step by step account but my true decent advice?

Take the picture to a hair salon, and get them to SHOW you how to do it, and buy the product they use.

Dont be afraid to ask questions....you dont just pay for their skills, your paying for their time and advice
