How can I style my hair emo?

I want the classic Straight hair on the front and spikes on the back look. How can I achieve this effect?

How long should the hair be on the back? How do I explain my hairstylist that I want my hair cut only on the back?

Also, what about the sides? What do I do with them?

One last question; how can I get my hair to grow faster? I heard eating healty and trimming it helps. Is it true?

Sounds like my friend's haircut when she had her hair like that. She had long bangs past her chin and her hair was an inch long in the back all spiked up. But she wasn't trying to be emo at all. That was her style that suited her well...Now she has longer hair about 3 inches past her shoulders. She had her hair trimmed and she straightened it less and her hair is healthier.

Ugh Why would you want to do that. I don't know many emos so I don't know much about the life style but the look is horrible and trashy don't do that! Sorry if that offends anyone.
