I'm gettiing my hair cut soon and was thinking about changing styles. Should I get it layered? I have long blond hair.

If you like change! I always get my hair layered and i really like it that way...but thats me. So if you think it would look good. And if you're comfortable with change, because it might shock you if you're not! My suggestion is to get it cut up to your shoulders and get layers. Also get it tapered around your face - i always think that looks good!

it depends on the thickness and how it gets layed.

like, if your hair is really super-thin then layers can make it even thinner and limp :( but when its thick layers will give it lots of bounce and its great!

also, sometimes layering can be done waaay too much...so it almost looks like a mullet yuk :P

but, i actually think layering can look really great and its so easy to manage!! so go for it!! it'll be fun ^.^

Well you should if you want to try something new. A layered cut would look good for someone with long, thick hair. So maybe you should try it out.

For layers you really do have to have medium to thick hair. If you have a really hard time getting volume, then layers may not be the best idea. Simply because you're hair will look kinda limp. If you do have really good volumized hair, go for it. Be careful on the layers though. Some hairdressers will give you a mullet kind of look. Just ask your hairdresser for a lots of varied layers, and thinning in the longest length.

I'll be honest and say I was terrified of layers until May of 07. My Senior year was coming in fast and I was tired of looking like EVERY OTHER GIRL!! Layers give you a sense of individuality because NO ONE has the same layers you will!
