Aside from what you see in this picture, my hair is to my butt, pretty thick, and naturally wavy. The color is actually a medium red--you'll have to forgive that this picture was taken with a Razr phone. I've given a bit of advice towards others but even so I can't figure out what to do with my own hair. I can't cut it off--my boyfriend and everyone else would have a heart attack. But I'd love to hear your suggestions on cut, style, and color. To let you know what you can't see I have fair skin with yellow undertones, amber yellow eyes, and as above mentioned my hair is presently a medium dark red. Thanks for all of your input! :)

I'd layer it and give it some low-lights

Long layers, shorter around face to frame it more. Some highlights through out and some low lights around face.
